Why support Cure cancer Australia?
About Cure Cancer Australia
Cure Cancer Australia invests exclusively in Australia’s brightest early-career researchers providing research grants for ALL cancer types and All areas of cancer research, including rare cancers.
In 2017 Cure Cancer Australia celebrates 50 years, and to date has funded 316 scientists, 483 research projects and has invested close to $27.5 million in cancer research grants.
Each year, in collaboration with Cancer Australia via the Priority-driven Collaborative Cancer Research Scheme (PdCCRS), Cure Cancer Australia identifies, assesses and funds the research that it believes has the best possible chance of finding a cure.
By exclusively investing in early-career researchers, Cure Cancer Australia is providing the seed funding that our brilliant, young scientists urgently need in order to secure the future pipeline of Australian cancer research.
Many of our research alumni like Professor Martin Tattersall AO are the leaders in cancer research, recognised both in Australia and around the world, and have been part of significant advances.
