Senator Zed Seselja's BARBECURE
Senator Zed Seselja hosted a BARBECURE in Canberra on Australia Day and had a very special visitor - the Prime Minister The Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP and his wife Mrs Lucy Turnbull making an appearance.
Vicky Kvisle and Friends
Cure Cancer Australia Life Member and Ambassador Vicky Kvisle along with longtime Cure Cancer Australia supporters Gillian Shearman, Kris Charody, Katy Ryko, Chris Sunderland and Sandra Levenston hosted a BARBECURE over the weekend.
They raised an amazing $9,493.94 on the day with great food, music and friends.
They had live music, a raffle and a great fundraising event!
Magic 8.99 BARBECURE
Magic 8.99 radio station in Port Lincoln hosted a BARBECURE in their local community, getting local business like Beyond Bank and the Rogue & Rascal to get involved.
They had a live broadcast from their BARBECURE and a raffle with special guest appearances from lookalikes of Paul Hogan, Strop and Linda.
Jane's Walk For A Cure High Tea
Jane Broadhead, one of Cure Cancer Australia's champions hosted a high tea to raise funds for cancer research.
They held a raffle with some amazing prizes (pictured below) and shared some wonderful food.
They raised an amazing $1,717 for early-career research.
Steve Irons MP and Glendys Godfrey BARBECURE
Steve Irons MP, the member for Swan and Glendys Godfrey, the Member for Belmont teamed up and hosted a BARBECURE on the foreshore in Swan.
Senator Ian Macdonald BARBECURE
Senator Ian Macdonald, the LNP Senator for North Queensland has also been busy hosting BARBECUREs.
He hosted an event on the Strand in Townsville on 19th January with Hinchinbrook MP Andrew Cripps, Burdekin MP Dale Last, Townsville LNP candidate Casie Scott and Mundingburra LNP candidate Matt Delargen (pictured on the left).
Together they raised over $500 and made some awesome signs in the process.
Senator Ian Macdonald also hosted a private event at his house for Australia Day and raised over $400
Gusface Grillah BARBECURE
Gusface Grillah - a BBQ enthusiast from Perth, hosted a BARBECURE over Australia Day. He served up pulled lamb coated with Vegemite, pepper and rosemary smoked over plum wood and raised $250 in the process!
Rotary Club Turramurra
Members of the Rotary Club Turramurra held a BARBECURE at Bobbin Head raising funds for cancer research with delicious food and raffling off ‘unwanted’ Christmas gifts!
Lisa Greissl - Bavarian BARBECURE
Cure Cancer Australia Champion Lisa Greissl hosted a Bavarian themed BARBECURE.
On the day, they served a fusion of German Bavarian and Australian BBQ food.
They raised an amazing $3,938 for cancer research!
Facebook Agency Swim-off
Facebook hosted their Agency Swim-Off and a BARBECURE for Cure Cancer Australia at Bondi Icebergs.
It was a fierce competition, with everyone walking away winners.
AMP Capital hosted their own BARBECURE during their lunch break. They had a raffle and a sausage sizzle.
They managed to raise over $1,100 at their BARBECURE.
